My story is about my return to college. It can be easier than you think! There are helpful resources that were not available before.The suggestions from the people at the 49er finish program really helped me to contact all the different departments necessary to ensure a smooth transition. It would have been very difficult to know what I needed to do, and who I needed to contact without their help. Ms. Jillian Stubbs is my hero. She made my return possible! I love biology, and I have worked many jobs, but have found that I’m only happy when working with the systems of life. When I started at UNCC, I was a very naive kid. It’s great to get a second chance, and I received so much help re-acclimating to college life. I couldn’t be happier working towards a goal that I enjoy!
